    EMPLOYERS:

As the time for the renewal of your workers’ compensation insurance approaches, we want to introduce you to the Carpenters-Contractors Workers’ Compensation program.  We are a collectively bargained “carve-out” program from the California state system.  Highlights of our program include:

    • Reduced premiums
    • An alternative dispute resolution procedure (ADR)
    • An exclusive list of medical providers
    • Health & Safety Newsletters
    • The assistance of an Ombudsman to resolve disputes

This unique program takes you out of the cumbersome State system, provides your injured employees with all mandated benefits without the need to obtain legal counsel, and reduces your costs.

We currently have six (6) approved insurance carriers participating in our program:

                                             State Compensation Insurance Fund
                                             Zurich North American Insurance
                                            AIG Insurance
                                            Old Republic Construction Program Group
                                            Travelers Insurance
                                            Starr Companies

Each of the carriers offers a discount for employers in our program.  The discount can range up to 10% of your premium.  All employers in the program must have a current collective bargaining agreement with the Carpenters Union and be primarily in the construction business.

If you would like additional information on our program, please contact our office or have your broker contact our office @ (213) 312-9311.  The insurance carriers can also provide you additional information and quotes on cost.  Please let them know you are interested in participating in the Carpenters ADR program.
